While our invention is important to us, our motivation is just as important. In 2011, we lost our first child Michael to Spinal Muscular Atrophy 1 at only 4 months old. After losing Michael to such a terrible disease our life was turned upside down. After witnessing how fragile life is we decided to make the most out of ours. We felt our sons’ life was cut short by no fault of his own and he wasn’t given the chance to make his life great, so we vowed to make the most out of ours in dedication to him. Before Michael, our idea would have came and went, but Michael taught us to ask “Why Not”. We dedicate every aspect of this company to our son and hope one day we can help find the cure for SMA in his name.
